Hey, Old Spicers -- I just made this a post on Tumblr, but I thought I ought to put it up here as well to make sure that all of you see it!

1. First of all, I have sent out messages to everyone for the second round of attention checks. If you haven’t responded to me yet, please do so! I’ve yet to hear from Redhotironypistol, Amaringo, and Achembee (who I had to send a message here on DW since your ask is closed — if you have another way you’d like me to contact you instead, please let me know! <3) — although there is a possibility that your response might have gotten eaten if you send me a reply via ask on Tumblr, because Tumblr is a huge bag of dicks. If one of you three did reply and I didn’t get it, then I am so sorry, and you can let me know via replying to this post or the fanmail button, since that has less of a chance of eating responses, aha. Thank you, guys! <3

 

2. Main Round 1 Submissions! Unfortunately, I’m not going to be online tonight (going to see the midnight release of Brave, aw yiss) so you have until tomorrow morning to post your submission for the main round, should you have chosen to do one! Go ahead and post it to the regular post for Main Round 1. Beta has posted an amazing picture so far, I have also posted my fic, and I know wildlinguist for one has a submission as well! Please feel free to check them all out and comment, especially as the rest of the entries get posted, since we have an amazingly talented cast of people on our team!

 

3. Main Round 1 Entry! As you guys know, we can only send in one submission to represent Team Bro<3Dad for the first main round entry, which I need to send to the HSO mods by midnight on the 23rd. As such, I would like to have the team vote on which entry we should choose tomorrow, the 22nd. I’m still not entirely sure what the best way to do that would be, however… Maybe I see how other teams are doing this, ach. I’m thinking perhaps you could leave a note on the entry that you’d like to send in, but if you are uncomfortable doing so where everyone can see, you can always send me a message in confidence. Regardless of which entry we submit, everything that everyone has created is gorgeous, and I’m so happy with everything you guys are making — and how can it not be amazing, when it involves pretty much the best pairing to ever exist? That automatically makes it boss as hell.

 

4. As a final note, I would also love to have a team chat to talk about our plans for the collab round at some point in the very near future! I’m not sure what the best venue for that would be — I’m thinking a group skype chat, but I am not sure how many of you have skype addresses? Well, if you do and you are interested in being a part of the collab round, even if it’s just brainstorming, or even if you just want to chat with everybody as a team, go ahead and send me your skype address and I’ll add you! I’m not sure what everyone’s schedule is like as of late or when they have time to chat, but we’ll sort all that out. xD Thanks for bearing with me, guys, you are all great! <3
